What Effie’s is doing to ensure a safe shopping experience

In order to safeguard the health of our staff, brides and groups during the pandemic, we are implementing the following changes:

  • During the week, we will be scheduling appointments limited to two bridal appointments during each time slot and take only 4 appointments at a time on weekends. This gives brides and their guests enough room to comfortably shop with us and practice “social distancing.”
  • An appointment is required for all services and pickups.
  • Guest count will depend on the total number of guests in store at one time. Please reach out for more information when you schedule your appointment.
  • If you or any of your guests are sick with a cold or flu or are exhibiting any cold or flu like symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever or difficulty breathing) within 24 hours of your appointment, please call to reschedule after 14 days.
  • Wearing a face mask/protective covering is not required for guests in store who have been properly vaccinated. If you have any concerns or requests, please reach out to us a few days before the appointment.

Orders

Lead times on new wedding dress orders are longer than usual. As a precaution, we encourage all brides to order your wedding dress as soon as possible to ensure ample time for your dress to be made, shipped and altered.  As of now, we are suggesting to order your dress 7-8 months ahead of your wedding. For those whose wedding does not allow that time frame, we can check our designer’s warehouses via our ‘portals’ while you are here shopping! We have been lucky and been able to order most dresses with more than enough time to spare for alterations. Due to our commitment and loyalty to our brides, we can also take a look into selling our sample gowns to accommodate each bride and their given circumstances.

For orders already in place, as of now we have experienced little to no delays. If anything changes we are and will always be in contact with you concerning the latest updates on your order.
